Political Cartoon

Living in the trenches, I'm able to relate to this completely. Everyday I dread waking up, facing the bombs and bullets. After waking up, caughing from the dirt surrounding me, I try to forget that the place I'm at is as bad as it is. These people making these cartoons don't know the worst of it. While they're coloring and doodling in the comfort of their own homes, I'm here - With the mice, the warfare and the fear. I stand there and watch as my fellow soldiers leave the trenches, hoping I'm not called out of the trench to battle. Waiting my turn until my involvement is an absolute necessity, eventually I close my eyes and pray for my own life. Why can't the war be over? No one should have to deal with this constant fear. It's inhumane and uncomfortable. Everyday all I can think about is my wife, and how much I want to be home with her. This political cartoon should speak to everyone. This should be a demonstration of how scared we all are here. Regardless of what others say: It's scary here, and I want to go home.
